Neutral wall coverings and solid wood flooring, which flows seamlessly throughout the ground floor, gives us our first taste of all the stylish décor this property has to offer.
The sumptuous family lounge boasts generous dimensions with dual aspect windows providing a lovely natural light. A real focal point of the room is the always sought-after, multi-fuel burning stove – ideal for cosying up in front of on a cold night. Eye catching wall coverings complimented by the cohesive warm, wooden flooring creates a truly idyllic place for the whole family to unwind.
Following through we have the delightful garden room. This second public room offers itself as an ideal space for both relaxing and entertaining alike. A section of bi-folding doors not only floods the room with an abundance of natural light, but also provides direct access to the delightful balcony area.
The balcony itself has been decked in a stylish cool tone with stairs leading down to the rear gardens. The upper decking is surrounded with pristine glass balustrades and benefits from picturesque surrounds. An additional downstairs study is present. The stunning dining kitchen has been fitted in a charming farmhouse style with an array of white cabinetry and shelves, complimented by traditional butcherblock worktops, stylish sage green wall tiles and stunning Belfast sink. A large cellar is present underneath the property offering masses of flexible storage options. Our clients have stored their washing facilities here, utilising the space as a convenient laundry room.
Completing the downstairs accommodation is the three-piece shower room. This has been renovated in a contemporary style with a fashionable mix of white metro tiles, dusty blue wall coverings and wet wall surrounds. The suite comprises of w.c, wash-hand basin with under sink storage and walk in shower enclosure. The space is further elevated by the addition of the matte black radiator and wall-mounted mirror with LED lighting.
A set of stairs lead way to the bright and airy upstairs landing where three generously proportioned bedrooms can be found. Bedrooms One and Three both feature a delightful bay window formation. Bedroom One also has the additional bonus of a modern, en-suite compromising of w.c. and wall-mounted wash hand basin.

The true jewel of this property has to be the south facing, extensive rear gardens, split into two sections by secure timber fencing. The first section of garden to the left of the property features tiered, lush lawns surrounded by decorative planting and shrubbery with a serene stream running alongside. A pathway leads through the timber gate to the second, privately enclosed section of garden. Here we find a low-maintenance arrangement of chipped and sociable patio areas.
Here's what our clients loved about their home…
“We have absolutely loved our last ten years here extending and restoring this beautiful cottage & re-designing the large south facing garden. We have created both a special home and a stunning garden in a fantastic setting. For the sun lover the sheltered socialising area receives the sun from dawn till dusk. In winter we curl up in front of the log burner and at Christmas the room can be decorated to fairytale proportions with a large tree due to a generous ceiling height. The garden room though has always been our favourite place with the large bi-fold doors giving the sense of being outside even on the darkest of days. Bedroom 1 is overly large and the dual aspect gives generous light, no problem for a king size bed! The kitchen has everything you require with a large dining room table which seats six but can be easily extended at family occasions. The cellar runs under the main house & offers fabulous safe storage for absolutely everything. A recently built log cabin makes an ideal workshop or man cave! We will shed a tear when we leave but life moves on and we sadly have to move on. We know whoever buys our home will fall in love with it and cherish it as we have.”
